R.I.P. to my hero, Sean Taylor

It's been a rough week this week. When I got to work on Monday, a friend of mine called to tell me that he heard on ESPN radio that Sean Taylor had been shot. I immediately got online
to try and find out more information. I soon learned the details: someone had broken into Sean's home in Miami and shot him in the leg. His fiance and 18 month old daughter were in the room where he was shot. Sean underwent emergency surgery to repair the femoral artery, but he passed away early Tuesday morning. I was in total shock when I heard he was gone. Since I was in college, Andrew and I have followed Sean Taylor's career very closely. He soon became one of my heroes. He was a good man and an AMAZING football player. I am mourning his loss along with thousands of other Redskins fans. It was so sudden that it is a total shock and I know that we are all praying for his family and expecially his daughter who will never know her daddy. Sean, you were an amazing person and I guess God needed a Safety for an Angel. If that was the case, he got the best Safety in the game. You will be missed and your fans and teammates will never forget you!

Hey, sometimes death is hard. I should know, because this one time my dad (who is a pilot) was driving his airplane with Harrison Ford and he hit a deer and the deer died. So I know how you feel. It's still hard to talk about. By the way, did you know my dad is a pilot? Love, your BFF
