Easter weekend madness

I know Easter was a week ago, but I wanted to post these pictures of my extended family. We had a very busy weekend but also had a lot of fun.

We're having tea and crumpets, bitches

So my roommate and I sometimes talk in fake British accents. Last night, after watching The Bachelor - London Calling, we decided that we needed to have a party for the finale. We talked about serving tea and crumpets. I didn't know what a crumpet was so when Kim told me it was similar in shape to a donut hole, I suggested that I would bring the "crumpets" known to Americans as donut holes and she was responsible for the tea (aka warm apple cider). While we were laughing about this situation, envisioning someone walking and asking us what we were doing, I said: "We're having tea and crumpets, bitches." This is now the quote of the week. Second place goes to: "She's a red-headed bitch and I hate her".

My life of drama and stress

So, my favorite roommate in the whole wide world is moving our April 15th. I am going to miss her greatly, but we will still be friends after she moves. This morning, I get a text from my other roommate letting me know that she will be moving out by this weekend (4 days away). I'm so frustrated because now I am stuck with the roommate that hates me (the feeling is mutual) and I have to find 2 replacement roommates. Kim has been amazing and is going to find a replacement for her by April 15th but I don't know what to do about the other room as I can't afford to pay the rent for 2 rooms. I'm so angry and stressed and it's going to make me sick to my stomach.

Sleeping at night is overrated

So apparently, I don't need to sleep at night. I can't seem to ever go to sleep when it's appropriate. I take naps after work and then when it's bedtime, I'm wide awake. It's a problem for sure but I don't know what to do about it. I guess I will just yawn at work all day and then come home to have a nap after work. Until I can finally sleep at night, this is my only option.

Robin Eggs are the shizzle

My favorite candy of all time has got to be Robin Eggs. They are so good and plentiful. I have tried to find them all over the Salt Lake valley with no success. Tonight, I was at my favorite store, K-Mart, when I stumbled across the mother-load. They have Robin Eggs on sale 2/$3 so.....I bought 4 bags! I'm so excited and if I had more money, I would have bought the store out and put them somewhere to have them all year long. We all know that the 4 bags I do have will probably last all of a week or maybe 2. I LOVE THIS CANDY!!!

An aneurysm at 27?

I have had the absolute worst headache in my life today. I'm pretty sure it's either a bain tumor or an aneurysm. Either way, surgery to remove my brain is most likely imminent.
