With the NFL season officially underway, I get a little sentimental regarding my fallen hero, Sean Taylor. I will never forget the day that Justin called me to tell me that Sean had been shot and was in surgery. Later that day, when it was announced that Sean had passed, I truly felt like I had lost someone I cared about. He was a great football player and a role model. I watched him all through college at "THE U" (Miami) and when he was drafted to the Redskins, I became a 'Skins fan for life. You are still missed Sean and there is no safety in the game that plays to the level you did when you were still with us. RIP #21 - HTTR

Warner family bonding time

On August 1st, we had a family reunion for the Warner side of our family. We spent the day at the Wildlife Park in Fillmore. Aunt Leslie had squirt guns, stickers, bubbles, hats, and treasure chests for the kids. They had lots of fun with all of the activities she had planned. We also had some good food that I couldn't eat because I was recovering from a bad case (and my first) of strep throat. It's not much fun to be surrounded by good food and have it hurt so bad to swallow that you don't get to partake of any of it :(. Look forward to seeing all of you again next year!

My mini summer vacation

The weekend after the 24th of July, my cousin Danielle and her family came to Salt Lake for a mini vacation. They invited me to come with them to Lagoon and the Bees Game. We had lots of fun with the whole gang (Tyler, Danielle, Dylan, Karsten, Jaxon, Jadeth, Whitnee, Jade, & me). Thanks to the Jensens for letting me join in on their family vacation! Here are some photo highlights of the weekend.

Kenny Chesney baby!!

For my birthday, Jana bought me a ticket to the Kenny Chesney "Sun City Carnival Tour" at Rio Tinto Stadium. It was a blast! I'm not going to lie, if you don't want to see pictures of a hot man in a cowboy hat, you may as well quit reading this blog now.....(tons of pictures below. You'll feel like you were there!!)
