Britt & Jayci's wedding

On June 5th, Britt and Jayci got married at the park in Fillmore. It was a really nice (super hot) day and the wedding was beautiful

Jade turns 1!!!

It's so hard to believe that it's been a year since this cute little girl joined our family. We love her so much and are happy we were able to spend her 1st birthday with her.

She really got excited to open her presents

This stuff is much more exciting than whatever the present is...

She wouldn't let go of the barbie, even to vacuum. We love you Jade!

Easter 2010

As is tradition, we went to the sand dunes for Easter this year. It was FREEZING! We stayed for about an hour, but the kids soaked up the whole hour with egg rolling, 4-wheeler riding, and just playing. We went to grandma's and ate after we had our fill of the sand.

T-ball and babies

Jesse played T-ball this year. Halle isn't old enough so this was just Jesse. It was one of the cutest things I have ever seen. These kids are just the cutest!

My cousin Shea's baby Emery. She is such a cutie and a good baby (she lets all of us strangers hold her and she doesn't cry unless she's hungry)

Dancing and firemen

In April, Halle had her final dance recital as well as a dance competition. Her dad escorted her onto the floor at her recital and danced with her. She has gotten so good at dancing this year and she really liked having Gracie in her class and Miss Melanie as her teacher.

Marilee made a cake for Halle for doing good at her competition in Parowan. The face Halle's pulling is a classic Halle face (always followed by uncontrollable giggling)
He looks like the real thing doesn't he?

Thankful for my health

A good friend has struggled with prescription medication addiction for a little over a year. 9 months ago, he was in a very severe car accident and has been trying to get back to "normal" for these past 9 months. About 4 weeks ago, he suffered a heart attack and a seizure due to an overdose of pain medications. He was in a coma for 13 days and has just recently started to wake up and respond to commands from his family and doctors. Please keep Nate in your prayers as he has a long road to recovery.

A good friend and co-worker went in to have a hyserectomy several months ago and they discovered cancer in her uterus. She has undergone chemo and radiation and has been super strong throughout the entire process. She is definitely not out of the woods yet and my heart breaks for her each day that she has to suffer.

Today, I found out that another good friend and co-worker as been in very serious condition at the hospital after having a stomach infection that has forced her to be on continued dialysis as well as have several surgeries in the past week. I knew she had been out "sick" from work, but had no idea how serious her illness was. I read her family's blog with updates about her and it sounds like she is working her way back to her old personality which is very good news!

We miss both of these amazing women at work and pray each day for their speedy recoveries. Nate has a very long road ahead of him - not only to recover from the damage of the overdose, but to overcome the addiction that he will fight every day for the rest of his life.

Please be sure to tell those that mean the most to you just how much you love and care for them. Things can change in a heartbeat and you never know how much time you have left. Live each day to the fullest and have no regrets.
